United Gas Pipeline Company (UGP), LLC is a non-regulated, mid-stream service provider engaged in the gathering, transportation and processing of Appalachian Basin gas production. The company is privately-held, headquartered in Spencer, West Virginia and aggressively focused on the acquisition and construction of gathering and processing properties. We are connected to hundreds of producing wells and our pipeline systems connect those wells into intrastate and interstate gas transmission pipelines.
UGP's primary objectives are to:
- Enhance producer gas sales by managing, controlling and reducing the associated gas gathering fees and charges
- Provide the producer with a more direct, reliable and alternate route to market which allows the producer to enter into fixed term and volume hedging agreements without the fear of shut-ins
- Reduce the producer's operational costs by minimizing the need for frequent shut ins.
